As more than 110,000 people flocked to restaurant reservations for Neapolitan Matpia, the winner of the Netflix cooking contest program "Black and White Chef: The War of the Cooking Class," the restaurant reservation application (app) even once went down.

At around 10 a.m. today (10th), the restaurant reservation app Catch Table opened a reservation for the restaurant "Viatoledo Pasta Bar" run by Chef Kwon Sung-joon of Naples Matpia. As soon as the reservation began, more than 110,000 users accessed, and the app was paralyzed for several tens of minutes.

Naples Matfia said on Instagram, "We received a call that the server had exploded," adding, "More than 50,000 people tried to make a reservation, so the app itself seems to have failed due to physical limitations." He said, "We will make sure that we can normalize it quickly. I've never done this before, so I'm embarrassed and sorry," he said.

In addition, he posted a capture of the transaction, saying, "If you get a ticket deal, the app itself is permanently black, and you can't refund the reservation fee." "Secondarily, we will check whether the person who made the reservation is you and guide you to the store," he warned.

"If you inform me of the reservation right transaction, I will take action immediately. Those who have caught the ticket sales site will be given a reservation right," he added.

Currently, all reservations for the restaurant in October have been closed, and more than 100 people have applied for an "empty notification."

According to the catch table the previous day, the number of reservations at restaurants run by chefs has increased sharply since the broadcast of "Black and White Cook." The number of restaurant searches by performing chefs increased 74 times compared to the previous week, and the number of restaurant stores surged 1,884% during the same period. The average reservation growth rate was 148%, and one of them saw the number of reservations skyrocket 4,937.5 percent.
