In order to raise Korea's donation scale and participation rate to the level of advanced countries, it has been suggested that the donation culture should be made a daily life, such as the creation of a high-ranking government official donation foundation.

In a keynote speech at the Donation Culture Promotion Forum hosted by the Government-Government Donation Culture Forum on the morning of the 10th, former Prime Minister Chung Un-chan stressed that raising the donation rate, which is currently 0.79% of GDP, to 2%, the level of advanced countries, will improve the gap between the rich and the poor and the shared growth.

Participants discussed ways to increase participation in donations, such as creating a high-ranking government official donation foundation that requires high-ranking government candidates to donate to public corporations if they have suspicions about property, or changing the tax credit for donations to income deductions and increasing deductions significantly.
