The Korea Consumer Agency said it did not follow the ID verification process at six locations after investigating the operational status of nine operators that operate "mainstream smart orders."
Liquor purchased by smart order must be received directly by the person placing an order, and the business also notified consumers to bring their identification cards for this purpose, but only three companies actually followed the ID verification process.
In addition, the Korea Consumer Agency pointed out that five companies do not guide how to withdraw their subscription and the deadline when ordering smart orders.
