Russia has dismissed reports that North Korean troops have been sent to Ukraine.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday local time that "it appears to be another fake news" in reference to reports that North Korea sent soldiers to Ukraine to support Russia.
It also said it had not received a signal from Ukraine that it was ready to cease fire.
Peskov explained that while there are many media reports about the ceasefire plan, he has not received any specific signals from Ukraine.
