Political circles of the ruling and opposition parties congratulated Han Kang for winning the Nobel Prize in Literature.

Han Dong-hoon, CEO of the People's Power, posted a message on social media, saying, "I first encountered Han Kang as an audiobook host, not a book a long time ago, and I still hear her because of her good voice.

Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, also congratulated an author for healing modern history with literature and wrote that he expressed his desire for human dignity in an era of violence and hatred.
