Regarding the rejection of the arrest warrant for Koo Young-bae, CEO of Quten Group, who is considered the final person in charge of the large-scale unpaid settlement of Timon and Wemakeff, the victims stressed that an arrest investigation should be conducted.

The Black Umbrella Emergency Committee, a group of companies affected by the undecided situation, issued a statement today (11th) saying that it respects the judgment of the court, but expresses deep concern.

The emergency committee criticized Koo, who is in charge of the incident, for still being ignorant and not communicating with the victims, and for deceiving by spending money only on the establishment of a corporation that does not help relieve the damage.

He added that the prosecution's thorough investigation and the court's wise judgment should be made, saying that systematic crime concealment and flight should be prevented as the circumstances of the attempt to destroy and conceal evidence by representative Koo and others are being detected.

Earlier, the Seoul Central District Court rejected the arrest warrant yesterday (10th), saying it is difficult to conclude that there is a risk of running away or eliminating evidence beyond the scope of the exercise of defense rights.
