A fire broke out on the sixth floor of a 19-story apartment building in Yongjong-dong, Gyeyang-gu, Incheon, at 8:50 p.m. yesterday evening (10th) and was extinguished in about 10 minutes.
At the time of the fire, no one was hurt because the apartment residents extinguished their own fire and the fire did not spread.
Fire authorities believe a recreational lithium-ion battery that was being charged in the living room caught fire.
