A warehouse manager suspected of stealing 4 billion won in cash stored in a rental warehouse has been handed over to the prosecution in custody.

The Songpa Police Station in Seoul today (11th) arrested and sent a man in his 40s on charges of night-time room intrusion.

A, who left the police station wearing a hat and mask at around 7:30 this morning, repeatedly said sorry when asked by reporters about the crime.

Mr. A is accused of stealing about 4 billion won in cash from a rental warehouse near Jamsil Station in Seoul between around 7 p.m. on the 12th of last month and 1:20 a.m. the next day.

The police plan to identify the exact amount of damage and the source of the funds based on the reporter's statement that A seized KRW 4.01 billion in cash and KRW 6.8 billion disappeared during the arrest process.

In addition, the police are investigating A's mother, who is suspected of being an accomplice, and an acquaintance of the reporter.
