On the first day of the early voting for the Seoul Superintendent of Education by-election, three superintendent candidates participated in the voting and appealed for support.

Chung Geun-sik, a single candidate for the progressive camp, said after voting at the Bukhyeon-dong Community Center in Seoul, that conservative candidate Cho Jeon-hyuk is presenting past educational administration, and that distorted history should not be repeated in schools.

Candidate Yun Ho-sang, who voted at an early voting center in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, said there will be no unification or resignation, and he will complete it until the end.

After voting at the Euljiro-dong Community Center in Jung-gu, candidate Choi Bo-sun said, "I am sorry for the inconvenience caused to Seoul citizens by this election," and asked them to vote.

Candidate Cho Jeon-hyuk, the single candidate of the conservative camp, will vote on the main voting day on the 16th.

Meanwhile, Park Sun-young, chairman of the Mulmangcho Corporation, which won 23.1% of the votes in the 2022 Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education superintendent election, appealed for Cho's support, saying on social media that the left wing is misleading voters.
