On the 10th, SBS wrote on its YouTube channel, 'Writing a new history of Korean literature...Novelist Han Kang Wins Nobel Prize for Literature, and wrote, "Uncomparable to the Nobel Prize for Disease and Prevention. The highest dignity of literature is the best!" he said.
Since then, Internet users have pointed out that SBS, which sent out comments disparaging the Nobel Peace Prize, has defamed the late former President Kim Dae Jung, who won the Nobel Peace Prize.
One netizen claimed that SBS violated Article 14 (objectivity) and Article 25 (ethics) 3 of the Broadcasting Deliberation Regulations and asked the Korea Communications Standards Commission to deliberate on SBS quickly through the National Newspaper.
As the report became controversial, SBS changed the video to private.
SBS has previously apologized by using images or phrases used in far-right community daily best (hereinafter referred to as Ilbe) for news or video content several times.
