Director Yoon Yook-young, who directed the movie "Heavy Snowpiercer," revealed the casting process of actor Han So-hee.

The press preview and press conference of the movie "Heavy Snow" were held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, at 2 p.m. today (11th). Director Yoon Yook-young, who directed the film, and actor Han Hae-in attended to talk about the work. Han So-hee was unable to attend the event due to personal reasons.

The movie "Heavy Snowfall" tells the story of winter's love between the high-teen star "Seol-i" (Han So-hee) and the aspiring actor "Su-in" (Han Hae-in), who became close like fate, who went back to each other after the days when they were not honest with each other.

'heavy snow' was selected as the Korean competition category at the Jeonju International Film Festival and received love calls from film festivals around the world, including the BFI FLAIR Film Festival in London, the Asian Film Festival in Rome, the Hamburg International Film Festival, and the Asian CINERAMA Film Festival in Hong Kong. It is also a movie that is expected to be Han So-hee's screen debut.

The film is Han So-hee's screen debut and a chance to see his acting as a rookie. Han So-hee played the role of the high-teen star "Seol-ee," who felt special emotions through Suan and realized that the only comfort she had is time with him.

Director Yoon said, "I first saw the image on Instagram. I was so surprised then. At the same time, the sensual beauty and the resistance in the eyes appeared together. It's not easy to see it because it's not easy to mix together, but I thought it was so attractive, so I offered to cast it right away without auditioning," he said.

Han Hae-in expressed satisfaction with Han So-hee's expressive ability and acting breathing. He said, "I remember being really excited to hear that actor Han So-hee was going to be with me on a snowy day. During the rehearsal, we met face to face and exchanged lines, and there were parts where my eyes and emotions came into my heart, and I almost cried," he said in the behind-the-scenes story of the shooting.

At the end of the meeting, the director also talked about Han So-hee's reaction ahead of the movie's release. He said, "Actor Han So-hee is also worried about how she will watch it because she was acting when she was a rookie. Rather, I told him that the actor's acting was really good and that I wasn't worried," he said.

The movie "Heavy Snow" opens in theaters on Oct. 23.
