U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris will hold additional broadcast talks instead of the second debate.

Politico, a political media outlet, reported that Vice President Harris will attend a CNN town hall event on the 23rd.

Former President Donald Trump, a Republican candidate, is said to have rejected the proposal."Unlike Trump, Vice President Harris welcomes the opportunity to share his political views with Americans," Harris campaign chairman Jen O'Malley Dillon said in a statement. "Trump's refusal to debate is a breach of duty to Americans."

CNN has been proposing the second TV debate between the two candidates on the 23rd, when the event for Vice President Harris' town hall was finally held.

Vice President Harris has responded positively and has been pressing for further debate, but former President Trump has refused to discuss further, citing that voting has already begun.
