Koo Ja-wook picks his first monthly MVP since his debut

Koo Ja-wook of Samsung, a professional baseball team, won his first monthly MVP award since his debut.

Koo won 29 out of 30 votes in the press corps vote and was named MVP in September and October, with overwhelming support of more than 50 percent in the fan vote.

Koo Ja-wook hit .500 with nine home runs and 24 RBIs in 16 games since September, putting his team in second place in the regular league.
