North Korea claimed South Korea infiltrated drones into Pyongyang and distributed leaflets to the North,

Our military's position came out, right?

[Reporter]
North Korea's Foreign Ministry issued a "major statement" through the Korean Central News Agency this evening.

It is said that South Korea invaded drones over Jung-gu Station in Pyongyang at late-night hours on the 3rd, 9th, and 10th and carried out an outrageous act of spraying propaganda.

At the same time, he said he regards this provocation as a serious political and military provocation that should be retaliated according to the right to self-defense.
The Ministry of Defense, the General Staff and the military at all levels warned that they were prepared to take advantage of all means of attack immediately.

Also, when the Republic of Korea conducts another provocative act of invading North Korean airspace,

It said there would be no warning again and that it would act immediately, but did not specify what the action was immediately.

North Korea has also released photos of objects that appear to have been taken with thermal monitoring equipment and leaflets to the North, saying it is evidence of infiltration by drones.

In response, the Joint Chiefs of Staff immediately refuted North Korea's claim that there was no such fact.

Then, in about an hour, he made an official statement again, saying that he could not confirm the facts of North Korea.

He then warned that all responsibility for the recent series of events lies with North Korea, which carries out provocations such as raising trash balloons.

He also strongly urged North Korea not to act rashly and to be cautious, stressing that the South Korean military will sternly and desperately retaliate if it threatens the safety of our people in any form.

Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun also said he never did so after receiving a related question during a parliamentary audit of the National Assembly's Legislation and Judiciary Committee, and mentioned that he would check the situation.
After
, he left the National Assembly and held an emergency meeting and returned to express his official position of the military and the government.

Minister Kim said our basic position is that we cannot confirm whether the North Korean claim is true or not, noting that there is nothing we can confirm for national security.

The government has reportedly decided to maintain a strategically ambiguous attitude, which is interpreted as an intention to confuse North Korea's response.

North Korea also launched a provocation to spray garbage balloons toward the South an hour after the Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying that South Korean drones had penetrated Pyongyang.
