Among the seven competing states that will determine the outcome of the U.S. presidential election, Vice President Harris leads in four and former President Trump in three, within the margin of error, according to a poll.

A Wall Street Journal survey of 600 registered voters in seven contested states from 28 to 8 last month found that Vice President Harris was ahead of former President Trump in Arizona and Michigan, Wisconsin and Georgia within a margin of error.

Former President Trump was found to have a slight advantage within the margin of error in North Carolina, Nevada and Pennsylvania.

In a survey of 4,700 respondents in seven competing states, former President Trump accounted for 46 percent and Vice President Harris 45 percent, while non-partisan voters had 40 percent of Harris and 39 percent of former President Trump.

The Wall Street Journal said about 16% of all respondents were undecided voters, down from 32% in the March survey.

He also said it was a close race to predict a win in all contested states, but added that if Harris wins where she currently leads in multilateral virtual showdown polls, she would have a narrow majority in the electorate vote.
