A car running near Daegwallyeong Interchange in the direction of Gangneung on the Yeongdong Expressway in Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do, caught fire at around 8:50 last night (11th).
No one was injured when the driver in his 60s was evacuated from the vehicle, but the fire department estimated 2.2 million won in damage due to all the cars.
Police and fire authorities believe the fire was caused by overheating engines and are investigating the exact cause.
