Fishing boat fire in Jawoldo, Incheon...a 50-something shipowner's image

A 1.3-ton fishing boat that was anchored at Jawoldo Dock in Ongjin-gun, Incheon, caught fire around 10 a.m. today (12th).

The fire extinguished itself in about five minutes, but the shipowner, a man in his 50s, suffered second-degree burns on his left arm.

The fire department is investigating the extent of the damage, believing that a spark broke out and caught fire while draining the water from the ship's engine room.
