According to the National Election Commission, 514,200 out of 8,645,000 electors in five constituencies nationwide, including the superintendent of the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, Busan, Incheon, and the heads of Yeonggwang and Gokseong local governments in Jeollanam-do, participated in early voting.
By constituency, the cumulative pre-voting rate for the re-election of Yeonggwang-gun County in Jeollanam-do Province was the highest at 35.21%, followed by the election of Gokseong-gun County at 34.5%.
The by-election of Ganghwa-gun County in Incheon and Geumjeong-gu Office in Busan recorded 22.46% and 14.96%, respectively, and the cumulative early voting rate for the Seoul Superintendent of Education by-election was 5.37%.
