Pop-up promotion, which is being used in K-pop, movies, and dramas, has now penetrated the musical industry.

It is a strategy to increase the desire to watch through various events such as recreating famous scenes in actual works.

Reporter Park So-jung reports.

The pop-up store of the musical 'Aladdin'.

As soon as you enter the entrance, a huge lamp catches your eye.

It took four months of production alone to consult with Disney about each of the 2m high and small patterns.

Visitors have a good time making wishes on the lamp and taking pictures on the bed where Princess Jasmine lay.

[Juhakyung / Ansan City, Gyeonggi-do: I was surprised that the clothes were so pretty, and it was amazing that there was a golden lamp when I came in, but I was so happy that it was possible to sit on Jasmine's bed.]

[Lee Jung-hwa / Gyeyang-gu, Incheon: We saw the clothes while watching the show. This is the scene we saw then and this is the room. I think we'll be able to make more memories while talking about these things. I think it would be more meaningful and better.]

The performance will open on the 22nd of next month, raising expectations with actors' photo card events and sales of various goods.

Advance reservations close early every time, and there is a long line on the site, so more than 1,000 people visit every day.

[Shin Jeong-ah / Director of "Aladdin" Organizer: It is a popular work in any city in the world, so it already has elements of stage that can be loved by various audiences, so I think you will be able to enjoy and have fun.]

A musical about the French genius poet Langbo also met with the audience in the pop-up space.

It is designed so that you can feel Langbo's literary journey and poetic sensibility vividly.

The actor is a commentator and tells the world of his work,

[Son Yu-dong / Musical 'Rangbo' Langbo] This is actually Langbo's handwriting. It's a handwriting that's been moved.... Can you feel something?]

There is also a section where actors listen to or transcribe Langbo's poems recorded.

I wrote and decorated Langbo's poem like this.

Another attraction from the performance is that there is a space where the audience can experience it in person.

Pop-up events such as musical King's Boots and Mamma Mia, which were mainly performed in large theaters, are now spreading to small theaters in Daehak-ro.

[CHA Yubin / Shingok-dong, Incheon: I think it was good to see the pop-up with the lingering feeling of the performance because the pop-up was held during the performance.]

The pop-up craze in the musical world is expected to continue for the time being, given that new audiences can be expected while increasing the loyalty of existing audiences.
