The Seoul Administrative Court ruled against the plaintiff in July in a lawsuit filed by Porsche's official sales company, Autostat, against the National Labor Relations Commission, asking the court to cancel its ruling on the remedy for unfair layoffs.
The court explained that the dismissal is heavy because it is difficult to see that the employee has a responsible reason to the extent that it is impossible to continue the employment relationship according to the conventional wisdom.
Earlier in February last year, Autostat fired a ninth-year employee for taking five free mugs for customers that cost about 20,000 won each without permission.
The employee filed for relief, saying the dismissal was unfair, which was accepted by the National Labor Relations Commission, which filed an administrative lawsuit against the ruling.
