Shin Won-sik, head of the National Security Office, said North Korea will not be able to start a war if it is unlikely to decide to commit suicide.

Director Shin appeared on TV today and said, "There has always been a possibility that North Korea will go to war after the Korean War, but the reason why we couldn't do it was because of the question of whether we had a chance of winning."

He then stressed that the South Korea-U.S. alliance, which is considered an element of the odds, is sound and the Republic of Korea is strong as an advanced country, and that our united efforts to prevent North Korea from starting a war and make the odds stand.

Shin said Kim Jong Un must be terrified by our high-powered weapons because he is the richest, most powerful, and the one with the most to lose on Earth.

He added that North Korea should have the ability to safely remove Kim Jong-un, as it is a different dynasty than a normal country, and North Koreans are brainwashed to defend the leader with the spirit of a gun bomb.
