The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said it visited the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Morocco from the 9th to the 11th to discuss ways to cooperate on railways between the two countries.

On the 9th, the order support group led by Baek Won-guk, the second vice minister of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, met with officials from the UAE state-run railway company to share technology and information in the two countries' railway sector.

The two sides agreed to expand cooperation in all areas of infrastructure other than railways based on the trust they have accumulated through the UAE nuclear power plant project.

Earlier, the order support group also participated in the international conference "Global Rail 2024" in the railway sector in Abu Dhabi to promote its domestic railway technology.

He then met with the Minister of Transportation and Logistics in Morocco to discuss ways to strengthen railway cooperation and asked for cooperation so that Korean companies can participate in the business.
