Last year's Rookie of the Year Kim Min-byeol won his first KLPGA Tour title in his second year.

Kim Min-byul, who won the Korean Women's Professional Golf and KLPGA Tour Rookie of the Year last year, won her first career championship in her second year of debut.

Kim Min-byul added 18 points with nine birdies in the final day of the KLPGA Tour Dongbu Construction and Korea Land Trust Championship held at Iksan Country Club in Jeollabuk-do, winning with 49 points in total.

The tournament was conducted in a modified stableford method that induces aggressive play, with five eagle points and two birdies given and one bogey deducted.

Kim Min-byul, who won the Rookie of the Year award without a win last year, was thrilled to win her first competition in her 52nd competition since her debut.
