It was belatedly known that a fan who asked singer Jesse to take a photo was assaulted by a person around him. Jesse said, "I don't know the perpetrator, but I feel moral responsibility."

Jesse said on social media on the 12th, "I was having a personal meeting with an acquaintance recently, and the victim, a fan of mine, asked me for a picture, but I politely refused it twice because it was late at night," and explained the situation at the time, "At that moment, (a fan) was suddenly assaulted by a person I saw for the first time that day."

In response, he said, "I was so embarrassed by the sudden situation at the time that I couldn't consider the fan carefully," adding, "I feel sorry for the damage caused by injustice and feel moral responsibility."

"After the issue of the case, we are trying to contact the victim's mother so that the victim can quickly find the perpetrator and receive an apology and compensation, and that the perpetrator can receive reasonable punishment," he added.

The incident took place in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 29th of last month.

The victim recently claimed on JTBC's "Case Team Leader" that "I went to take a picture because I was a fan of Jessi, but I was saying sorry that I couldn't, but the person who walked next to me hit me in the face."

The victim also said, "I'm a person, but I'm very disappointed because I didn't want to be involved, but I don't know if I ran away because I didn't want to be involved."

Since then, the victim has reportedly sued four people on charges of assault, including the unidentified perpetrator, on the 10th.
