Seung-han of the group Rise, who recently announced his return after suspending his activities due to privacy controversy, decided to leave the team after two days.

Wizards Productions under SM Entertainment said on its official SNS, "We apologize for causing hurt and confusion to fans due to the announcement of the return."

After the controversy, Seung-han himself has expressed his intention to leave the team, and the agency added that it will help Seung-han achieve his talents and dreams later on.

Seung-han also posted a handwritten letter on the fan community Weverse on the same day, saying, "I think it's the way for everyone that I'm leaving the team," adding, "I don't want to cause any more confusion and hurt to the fans, I don't want to cause any more damage to the members, and I don't want to cause any more damage to the company."

Seung-han, who made his debut as Rise last year, decided to suspend his activities indefinitely in November last year after controversy over his private life due to the circulation of videos taken privately as a trainee, and recently announced his return.

Some fans who protested against this have sent a large number of wreaths in front of SM Entertainment's office building, leading to a backlash.
