It has been confirmed that group BTS Jimin is among the celebrities who lent money to comedian Lee Jin-ho, who confessed that he owed money for illegal gambling.

Jimin's agency, Big Hit Music, explained the situation to YTN today (14th), saying, "It is true that the money damage has occurred, and all that was lent is the use of an IOU."

However, he declined to comment on the promised repayment date and amount.

Earlier on the same day, Lee Jin-ho said on his SNS, "I started playing on an Internet illegal gambling site as an accidental opportunity in 2020 and took on a debt that was too much to handle," adding, "I'm so ashamed and sorry."

In particular, he said, "I had received financial help from many people. When I got a call from an unknown number, I thought it was a debt-related call or my heart was racing." Jimin and several other celebrity colleagues are said to have a debt to Lee Jin-ho.

Lee Jin-ho said, "As a celebrity on the show, I sincerely regret the past when I forgot my duty and ruined it with a moment of wrong judgment," adding, "I promise to repay the debt left to me no matter what."
