Right turn at the school zone, elementary school student hit by ready-mixed concrete...a fractured foot

Geumcheon Police Station in Seoul is investigating a ready-mixed concrete driver for hitting an elementary school student while driving in a child protection zone.

Driver A is accused of hitting an elementary school student while turning right on the side road in Doksan-dong, Seoul, at around 8:40 a.m. today (14th).

The victim was taken to the hospital with a fracture in her foot.

Police said they are investigating whether A exceeded the school zone speed limit and violated the right-turn pause obligation.
