Bucheon Housing Improvement Project Construction Co., Ltd. Accused of 20 Billion KRW Fraud

The head of a construction company in charge of a home improvement project in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, has been sued for fraud worth 20 billion won, and the police have launched an investigation.

The Bucheon Ojeong Police Station in Gyeonggi Province has received a complaint against the head of a street housing maintenance project in Bucheon on charges of fraud and forgery of private documents.

The 26 complainants, who are the sellers of the home improvement project, claim that the head of the construction company used his name to receive a real estate loan worth 20 billion won as collateral for the new apartment.

Some of them reportedly received requests from trust companies for eviction after their new apartments were secured by loans from the head of the construction company.
