The Incheon Metropolitan Government said it will implement city-level support measures prior to government support to minimize damage to residents caused by noise broadcasting in North Korea.
To this end, we first decided to measure residents' stress and promote mental health support projects such as mental health tests and psychological counseling.
Incheon City's "Mind Health Bus" will be deployed in the affected areas of Songhae, Yangsa, and Gyodong-myeon, Ganghwa-gun, and mental health tests such as anxiety and stress disorders and in-depth counseling will be conducted through the Ganghwa-gun Mental Health Welfare Center.
The Incheon Metropolitan Government believes that about 52% of the 8,800 residents in these three villages, or 4,600 people, are suffering from noise damage due to North Korea's noise broadcasting, which began in earnest from the beginning of the past.
