Prosecutors have asked for life imprisonment for a 20-year-old who tried to rape two women in a college town in the early morning hours.

The Jeonju District Prosecutors' Office asked the court to sentence the 28-year-old A to life imprisonment in the trial of a man accused of robbery and sexual assault injury.

The prosecution pointed out, "This case is a crime without any reason for consideration," adding, "The defendant committed another crime not long after he was released from prison after receiving a series of probation and prison sentences for similar crimes in the past."

A was put on trial at around 4 a.m. on April 10 on charges of attacking two women in their 20s at different places near a university in downtown Jeonju, punching them with their fists and feet, and trying to rape them.
