A "heavy rain preliminary warning" has been issued as more than 100mm of rain is expected on the southern coast of Busan and other areas.

The Korea Meteorological Administration said that as rain clouds developed in the West Sea flow in, there will be heavy rain on the coasts of Yeongnam such as Busan and Ulsan, and on the coasts of Jeollanam-do such as Sinan and Jindo.

By tomorrow, there will be a lot of rain of up to 100mm on the Yeongnam coast, including Busan and Ulsan, and up to 80mm on the Jeonnam coast, and 10 to 60mm on the other southern regions.

5-20mm of rain is expected in central inland areas such as Seoul.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) said that there will be some places with strong rain of 10 to 30mm per hour around the southern coast by tomorrow morning, accompanied by gusts of wind and lightning, and asked for attention to flood damage caused by fallen leaves.
