Moon Da-hye, the daughter of former President Moon Jae In, ran into a taxi while driving drunk in the early morning of the 5th.The taxi driver who injured

in the accident was investigated by police on the 9th.

However, the injury certificate has not yet been submitted.

The police judge that if the victim does not submit a medical certificate, it is virtually not easy to apply the charges of dangerous driving against Moon.

A charge of dangerous driving can be sentenced to up to 15 years in prison, which is generally higher than a simple drunk driving charge that is fined.

However, without a medical certificate, it will be difficult for the perpetrator to prove that he hurt the victim.

It has not yet been confirmed whether the taxi driver, who did not submit a medical certificate, said he did not want punishment after reaching an agreement with Moon.

It was found that Moon Da-hye appointed a lawyer on the 8th and is still coordinating the summoning investigation schedule with the police.

Since the victim's investigation has been completed, there are observations that Moon's summons is imminent.

[KIM KYUNG HWAN / Lawyer: Since the victim's investigation has been completed, it seems that the suspect's investigation will be conducted soon. [After the victim's investigation, all investigations are being conducted within a week or 10 days]

The police said they would consider safety measures such as securing access passages if Moon Da-hye's personal threats were feared, but stressed that the principle of calling her to Yongsan Police Station, Seoul, which is the jurisdiction police station, remains the same.

After investigating the victim, the police are expected to call Moon Da-hye soon to ask about the details of the incident.
