On the 14th local time, the Dow Jones closed up 0.47% at 43,065.22 on the New York Stock Exchange, surpassing the 43,000 mark for the first time ever.
The S&P 500 also rose 0.77% to a new all-time high of 5,859.85, while the Nasdaq Composite closed 0.87% higher at 18,502.69.
Expectations that the U.S. economy has maintained solid growth have lifted the stock market, led by large tech stocks, as the season for major companies to report third-quarter earnings has begun in earnest.
Nvidia, in particular, rose 2.43% to break its previous high, driving the strength of the semiconductor sector.
