At around 5:30 p.m. yesterday, a worker in his 30s who was working on replacing the elevator at a five-star hotel in Yeongjong-do, Incheon, fell from a height of 12th floor and died.
The man, who belongs to an elevator contractor, was investigated during demolition work to change the hotel elevator.
The Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency's Criminal Task Force is investigating the exact circumstances of the accident against construction company officials.
