North Korean leader Kim Jong-un convened a consultative meeting on defense and safety yesterday (14th) to discuss countermeasures regarding the infiltration of Pyongyang drones, the Korean Central News Agency reported.

The news agency said that the general director of the reconnaissance bureau's comprehensive analysis of the sovereign invasion provocation, the chief of the general staff's response military plan, and a report on defense measures to modernize military technology equipment were carried out at the council.

He also said that Chairman Kim presented the direction of military activities and revealed important tasks related to the exercise of the right to self-defense after being briefed on the project and mobilization preparations carried out by the General Staff, but did not introduce details.

Kim also expressed a strong political-military stance by the party and the republic's government, the news agency said, but did not report any details about this.
