Suspected explosives were found in Gunsan U.S. military unit, causing a disturbance at one point.

A suspected explosive object was found in a USFK unit, causing a commotion at one point.

At around 9:10 a.m. today (15th), an object suspected of being an explosive was found in a construction vehicle truck entering the base of the 8th U.S. Forces Korea Fighter Wing in Gunsan, North Jeolla Province.

The police controlled the area and the Korean Air Force and the U.S. military's explosives disposal team found that the object was considered to be at low risk because it did not have a detonator.

However, it was reported that the disturbance once caused inconvenience, such as passengers at Gunsan Airport being unable to get off the plane.

The U.S. military is trying to figure out the exact circumstances, believing that it happened because the military dog reacted sensitively.
