In the parliamentary audit of the National Assembly Legislation and Judiciary Committee for the Board of Audit and Inspection, the ruling and opposition parties argued over the submission of the minutes of the audit committee related to the relocation of the presidential residence.

Chung Chung-rae, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea's judiciary committee, said, "We asked Choi Hae-sa for the minutes of the relevant meeting by the resolution of the Judiciary Committee, but the Board of Audit and Inspection rejected it because of internal rules of operation, and stressed that if we don't submit it to the end, we will use all possible laws to punish him."

He also criticized the suspicion of his residence as a security issue, saying that it is a corruption issue and that the Board of Audit and Inspection is taking the opposite attitude from the audit of former Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission Chairman Jeon Hyun-hee.

In response, Joo Jin-woo, a member of the People's Power, refuted that it was the Democratic Party that blocked the disclosure of the minutes of the Wolseong Nuclear Power Plant audit meeting during the 2020 Moon Jae In government.

He then stressed that if all the free discussions of the audit committee members are disclosed, the auditor's core work will be hindered, and that the contents related to the official residence are not irrelevant to security issues.
