Yoon held his 29th public livelihood debate at the Jeju Free International City Development Center and said he is pushing for medical reforms to establish a 'regional complete essential medical system' that allows high-level and severe emergency treatment in areas such as Jeju Island.
In addition, he added that he will actively cooperate with Jeju Island to promote the construction of a new port on Jeju Island and actively support tourism commercialization by designating Jeju Island as a UAM pilot operation area called "Flying Taxi."
It also promised to invest 56 billion won in Jeju's green hydrogen demonstration project by 2026, saying it will actively support Jeju's clean energy and clean industrial innovation to become an excellent example of the "carbon-free energy" transition.
