Court suspends KOC's designation of KTA management organization

The court has suspended the designation of the Korean Sports Council as a management organization for the Korea Tennis Association.

As a result, the move by the Korea Sports Association to designate the Korea Tennis Association as a management organization in July has become ineffective until a ruling on the main issue is made.

The Korea Sports Association designated the Korea Tennis Association as a management organization in July, saying it was impossible to carry out normal business due to billions of won in debt, and the Korea Tennis Association legally countered by electing a new chairman and saying it had canceled its debt from its creditor, Mediawill.

The Korea Tennis Association plans to operate as an emergency committee for the time being.
