KOSPI recovers to 2,630 on foreign and institutional buying

The KOSPI recovered to 2,630 units on foreign and institutional buying.

Today (15th), the KOSPI closed at 2,633.45, up 0.39% from yesterday.

Individuals sold more than 300 billion won, but foreigners bought more than 280 billion won and institutions bought more than 20 billion won, raising the overall index.

Overnight, Nvidia hit an all-time high, which was largely due to the influx of warm winds in our semiconductor stocks.

In fact, Samsung Electronics, the top market cap, rose 0.3% and SK Hynix, the second-largest, rose more than 2.8%.

KOSDAQ also rose 0.46% to close at 773.81.

The local currency was trading at 1,361.3 won against the U.S. dollar as of 3:30 p.m., up 5.4 won.
