National Sports Marathon Runner Gets Carried While Playing

During the National Sports Festival Marathon, an athlete was hit by a vehicle.

A man in his 20s who participated in a half marathon on a road in Gimhae, Gyeongsangnam-do Province, was taken to a hospital after injuring his left leg when he was hit by a car driven by a woman in her 70s.

Mr. A told the police that he entered the control section and moved to the second lane at the instruction of the host to change lanes, but found the player and panicked and caused the accident.

The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident against the driver.
