KNOC said it will work with S&P Global to establish investment attraction strategies and begin full-fledged investment attraction activities in the future.
S&P Global is an institution that provides financial services such as credit ratings and financial information analysis, as well as analysis services for energy sector and mobility data.
Earlier, KNOC held investor relations sessions with foreign oil companies such as Exxon Mobil, Saudi Aramco and Italy's Annie.
The government plans to conduct the first drilling in December this year alone by the Korea National Oil Corporation, and to jointly develop it with investment from foreign companies from the second drilling.
