1.29 million people participated in spring school this year.Expanded to 2 early next year

In the second semester of this year, a total of 292,000 people participated in all spring schools for first graders nationwide.

Currently, 6,185 elementary schools and 178 special schools nationwide are participating in spring schools, but they will be expanded to second graders next year.

The government said it will invest 10.8 billion won in all spring schools next year with a budget for cross-ministerial collaboration projects and develop various programs in cooperation with competent specialized institutions such as local universities.

The Ministry of Education also plans to set aside 21.2 billion won to establish a system for supplying programs for all-spring schools to meet local demand and 2 billion won to support training for instructors in universities and teachers' universities.
