North Korea said on the 16th that it would take revenge on South Korea for infiltrating drones into Pyongyang and distributing leaflets to the North, claiming that young people are pouring in.

The Rodong Sinmun, the official newspaper of the Labor Party, reported on its front page that more than 1.4 million young people across the country signed a petition to join the army and return, saying, "The country is full of destructive will to punish Korean trash for violating the sovereignty and safety of our sacred republic."

He added that the young people expressed their determination to "show the real taste of war, the taste of fire, to the crazy people who run around without any sense."

Whenever there is an opportunity, North Korea seeks to unite the system by highlighting external threats such as the United States and South Korea and conveying the news of young people's petition to join the military in state media.

The Rodong Sinmun also published several articles on its front page saying that residents who heard that Korean drones had penetrated Pyongyang have been paying off by pouring out their infuriating anger into agriculture.

Earlier on the 11th, North Korea's Foreign Ministry claimed that South Korea penetrated drones into Pyongyang and distributed leaflets on the 3rd, 9th and 10th of this month, but the South Korean military maintains that it cannot confirm whether it is true.
