The moon rises at 5:38 p.m. tomorrow in Seoul and sets at 7:22 a.m. the next day, and the moon is expected to look the largest and brightest at 8:26 p.m.
The moon, which orbits the Earth in an elliptical orbit, will be closest to the Earth tomorrow, 14 percent larger and 30 percent brighter than the farthest full moon.
Last year's largest full moon was August 31, and this supermoon is the first in a year and two months.
The smallest full moon this year was the moon during the Lunar New Year's Day on February 24.
