◇ Anchor> Kim Yo-jung continues to talk rudely every day. Yesterday, he made another statement, saying that the South Korean military is the main culprit behind the invasion of Pyongyang drones and that there is clear evidence. At the same time, I didn't reveal the evidence in detail, but how do you see it?

◆Park Won-gon> Kim Yo-jong is making a conversation almost every day. Didn't the discourse on the 14th, which was just the day before, bring about the United States out of the blue? I think it has two meanings because it attracted the story of the United States. I think I'm going to make a big difference. Therefore, it reveals North Korea's presence toward the United States. Another thing is that North Korea doesn't have that many options in the current situation. So what North Korea wants most is to prevent drones from entering Pyongyang again, but if that happens, North Korea has to do something as the next option, but that's not right. For example, if we let the drone shoot down, there is a possibility that South Korea will of course be able to respond to it and North Korea is agonizing over various possibilities, so the statement on the 14th reads that the U.S. should cooperate with the South Korean government to stop it. But yesterday, don't you say that the 15th discourse you just mentioned clearly has evidence? It will make you pay a harsh price. In a slightly different context, it came out of the crystal, and then we'd have to show the evidence first. There will be a next step only when the evidence is shown, but I'm careful about my judgment, but if there was evidence, wouldn't it have already been shown? And if you look at the photo released by North Korea for the first time and the thermal camera, the evidence is not accurate. Because it doesn't appear to have shot down the drone, and if so, there is still uncertain evidence that can be seen clearly. However, I think we need to filter out a little bit because this kind of expression of making them pay is what North Korea always does.

◇ Anchor> In the midst of this, a meeting of vice foreign ministers from South Korea, the U.S. and Japan will be held in Seoul today. It seems that discussions on the North Korean issue will continue deeply, so what will be said?

◆ Park Won-gon> U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Kurt Campbell is coming. I think it will be a very meaningful meeting, but what's more, how will Korea, the U.S., and Japan respond to this when tensions are so high? Russia is also sort of taking its own stand now. Since we are taking such positions at the level of our sovereignty and interference in domestic affairs, I think in this situation, South Korea, the U.S. and Japan need to take a common position and voice a clear warning to North Korea, Russia, and others. However, the U.S. position will also be complicated. Because it is in the presidential election phase, the Democratic Party will not like the tension on the Korean Peninsula again because there is already a war in Ukraine, there is a Russia-U.S. war, and the Middle East situation is serious. I think there is a possibility that crisis management may be emphasized based on that.
