The government will invest KRW 100 billion to support lifelong AI and digital learning for adults over the age of 30.

Deputy Prime Minister Lee Ju-ho said at a briefing held at the Sejong Government Complex today (16th) that he will create digital lifelong education access rights for adults and foster 100 leading schools.

The Ministry of Education explained that it will provide 350,000 won in "AID Career Jump Pass" annually to 10,000 adults over the age of 30 and use it to take related classes at universities or private lifelong education institutions.

Such digital education can be received through the credit banking system, and a sub-unit major that only requires 12 credits will be established.

In addition, digital literacy education, which teaches how to use financial applications and kiosks that are frequently used in everyday life, will be expanded to 82 local governments this year.
