A fire broke out at around 1 p.m. today (16th) in a 5-ton truck driving toward Seoul on the West Coast Expressway.
There were no casualties as the driver pulled up and evacuated, but the traffic in the area was severely congested in the aftermath of the site's recovery.
The fire burned the front of the car and was extinguished in about 20 minutes.The
Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the fire, believing it started in the engine part.
