First Lady Kim Gun-hee, her brother Kim Jin-woo, and Myung Tae-kyun, who are suspected of manipulating public opinion, were adopted as witnesses for the parliamentary audit of the presidential office on the 1st of next month by the National Assembly Steering Committee.

The Democratic Party held a general meeting of the steering committee and applied for and voted for 33 witnesses and witnesses, including Kim and Myung, and the people's power left in protest of the unilateral proceedings.

Myung Tae-kyun's alleged involvement in the nomination of Kim, and Kim's alleged preferential treatment of the presidential residence were cited as reasons for applying for witnesses.

Kim Jin-woo was listed as a witness for alleged access to the presidential office and attending the meeting.

On the other hand, 35 witnesses and witnesses, including Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party of Korea, former President Moon Jae In, and daughter Moon Da-hye, who were applied by the People's Power, were excluded from the list.

The steering committee also proposed an amendment to the National Assembly's rules, which excludes the ruling party's right to recommend candidates from the standing special prosecutor's recommendation committee when the president or his relatives are subject to investigation, and referred them to the subcommittee.
