Namyangju Branch of the Uijeongbu District Court sentenced teen A and B, who assaulted a security guard to faint and filmed it and posted it on social media, to a long one-year prison term and short six months, respectively, for admonishing them.

The court explained that A, who assaulted the victim, did not reach an agreement with the victim, but considered the fact that he was young.

In addition, B, who posted the video on social media, said there is no basis for the claim that it was automatically uploaded on social media, but that the allegation is admitted because he may be aware of the possibility of leakage even if the claim is true.

In January, they were put on trial for assaulting the victim and posting a video of it on social media when a security guard in his 60s admonished him not to make any noise at a commercial building in Dasan-dong, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do.

The victim said he did not want to punish them, but changed his position that he wanted punishment as the video posted by B on social media spread and his family and acquaintances watched the video.
